BPI Best BCAA Review

2:1:1 ratio of bonded amino acids. This means that they have tried to bond together the 3 amino acids instead of having them as 3 separate free form aminos. Do I feel this is a particular benefit ? Not personally , however I am not yet willing to say it is purely a marketing claim.

CLA 1g - I am a fan of this inclusion although 1g isn't a very effective dose. I would be likely to have 2-3 scoops of Aminos a day which quickly adds up to an effective daily dose. CLA while dieting is something that I would be using separate so combining the too is very good and makes the cost effectiveness even better.

Agmatine 250mg - again a well dosed effective ingredient. This is an ingredient I really like being included in a BCAA product that I will consume intra workout.

Taste

I am a big fan of the taste. I knew with BPI this would taste good especially as I selected the green fusion flavour. This was refreshing ,only negative was so moreish. I like to drink a shaker of aminos then move onto water after but I just wanted more aminos.

A colleague did say they found it a little too sweet but I was very happy with this. However this is not surprising. If you look at the volume of active ingredients and the volume in a scoop - you will see there is nearly 3g of a scoop is artificial ingredients and flavourings.

Mixability

Very good for such a high dosed amino. I certainly have no problems with it and doesn't need too much shaking. Doesn't settle too much if not drank for a while in between sets either.

Cost

£24.37 for 30 servings working out at 80p per serving this is only just more expensive then Scivation Xtend and Cellucor alpha amino. it is certainly a very price competitive product so if you are a fan of the bonded chain version of BCAA's then this is a very good price. However as mentioned above having a decent dosage of Agmatine and CLA means you do not need to buy these as a separate product if you would choose.
