Ovofull Pancakes

I've recently got myself some of the Ovofull pancakes to have as a weekend breakfast treat.

Firstly I found them far easier than making normal pancake batter. All you need to make them is a protein shaker and a pan (scoop is provided) .

Put 3 scoops of the powder into a shaker with 100ml of water or milk (I opted for water), give it a good shake and pour into a pre-heated pan. The pancakes don't stick to the pan or fall apart.

All in all it took less than 5 minutes to prepare!

I got 3 pancakes out of one serving and added a drizzle of Walden Farms Syrup (the calorie free one) and a few blueberries.

Without the extras each pancake (aprox 30g of powder made with water) contained 12g of protein, 13.8g of carbohydrates (only 1g of sugars) and 1.6g of fats with a total of 109 kcal.
Accompany that with a full range of  amino acids and you can see it's a far healthier choice over regular pancakes of which 1 would contain aprox 250kcal, 4.3g protein, 50.9g carbohydrates and 7g fats.

As for the flavour – there is no compromise, Ovofull pancakes taste absolutely delicious!

Another little trick I found was to make the batter as above and pour onto my waffle iron, made perfect waffles first time! Just remember to spray some PAM on first, so they don't stick !
