These are super quick and easy, high in both protein and fibre, but low in carbs. Due to the the fibre and slow releasing casein protein, they will also keep you feeling fuller for longer. Casein protein isn't just beneficial when taken at night, but has also been proven to aid recovery when taken during the day as it 'drip feeds' your body a supply of protein.
Double or triple the ingredients for a sweet treat in addition to your regular meal prep!
Ingredients:
- 20g Optimum Nutrition vanilla casein
- 15g Now Foods coconut flour
- 10g smooth peanut butter
- 55ml water
Directions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix together until it forms a ball. Wrap in cling film and pop in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts, rolling each into a ball in the palm of your hand. If the dough is slightly too sticky, add a touch more coconut flour or casein. Lightly oiling your hands also helps should you find it sticks to your hands.
